Good product for polishing fine particulate
I have found this to be a good product as a final "polishing" step for our Culligan water treatment system that includes a re-generatable filtration system. Without the string filter, we often get bleed through of the fine particulates but with use of this string filter as a final step, our water has been clear. My guess is that if you are trying to use this product to completely clear large amounts of particulates from your water, you will be disappointed. But for the purpose I have described, it is well worth the money. And the price is right compared to what I have found in the water treatment stores locally. My only complaint is with the customer service who sent me the wrong filters and then required that I return the incorrect product. I cannot even find the time to get myself to the post office or UPS to mail Christmas presents and I was not pleased to be inconvenienced by this company's error. Most places will just send the right product and not worry about a small loss for an incorrectly shipped product.
