Provides 2,500 Gallons (about a year at 7 gallons per day!) of great- tasting, crystal clear water. That`s about 3 cents/gallon without lugging bottles around! We recommend annual replacement of the water filter cartridge.

Superior Countertop Water Filter Details and Benefits Our Superior series water filters provide =99.984% reduction of 3 - 4 m particles (=99.96% reduction of 1 -2 m particles) and operate as high performance sediment filters with extended life. In addition, the Superior series provides excellent reduction of Chlorine, tastes and odors. Graded-density prefiltration combined with a high dirt capacity extruded activated carbon serve to provide several times greater dirt life than molded water filter products. Design Features: Our Solid Carbon Block filters flow in the radial (outside-to-inside) direction, providing increased dirt capacity and low pressure drop. Unlike granular activated carbon (GAC) water filters, solid carbon block cartridges will not channel or bypass, due to the extreme uniformity of their extruded activated carbon core. Service life of the water filter cartridge is greatly extended by two layers of prefiltration media consisting of a 15 m polypropylene spunbonded outer prefiltration layer and a 5m polypropylene melt-blown inner layer. Important Notice: Countertop units will not connect to pull out faucets. If your main faucet is a pull out faucet you will need an undercounter water filter unit.
