Replacement cartridge for the sediment pre-filter of the Rhino EQ-300 Whole House Filter System. The sediment pre-filter is used to prevent dirt and sediment particles from entering and clogging the main filter unit. The sediment pre-filter is a critical 1st stage in the patented 4 - stage water filtration process in the Rhino EQ300. Larger and heavier particulate matter is removed from your water supply through the use of a polypropylene water filter cartridge. This cartridge should be replaced every 3-6 months (or if water flow slows) depending on water quality and sediment levels.

The Aquasana EQ304 pack ships with four (4) sediment water filters which should last from 1 - 2 years depending on your local conditions. Frequent replacement of the pre-filter ensures a cleaner influent water supply to your primary water filter unit.
