WR001 Information
The WR001, our Superior Series Carbon Block Replacement Filter as used
in our Countertop Superior and Undercounter Superior, provides excellent
filtration characteristics at an affordable price. Outstanding performance
removes sediment,
rust, particulate matter, Chlorine tastes and odors,
for sweet, clear, great-tasting water. This long-lasting, 1.0 micron replaceable
filter provides 2,000 gallons of crystal clear water for about a penny per
gallon! Measures 2.5" x 9.75". Call or email us for manufacturer`s
data sheets. Fits our Countertop and Undercounter Superior Series water filters
(WC001, WC003, WU001 and stage two of the WU002). This cartridge will also
fit most standard 10" housings (please refer to the data sheets and

Contaminant Reduction: This solid carbon block filter provides 0.5 micron
nominal, 1 micron absolute filtration. A dense prefiltration wrap combined
with a high capacity extruded activated carbon block serves to provide excellent

filtering dirt, rust and sediment. This carbon block filter is made to our

Design Features: This filters flows in the radial (outside-to-inside) direction,
providing increased dirt capacity, low pressure drop and high adsorption
capacity. Unlike granular activated carbon (GAC) filters, our 1 micron Carbon
Block cartridges will not channel or bypass, due to the extreme uniformity
of their extruded activated carbon core. Service life of the the filter is
greatly extended by prefiltration media consisting of spunbonded outer prefiltration
