The Blueair 402 replacement Smokestop filter equals one complete filter change. This Blueair filter contains more activated carbon for better smoke and gas removal. Fits all Blueair 402 models. Blueair recommends changing this filter every 6 months. The air filter replacement includes 1 (one) enhanced HepaSilent filter (equal particle efficiency) that removes dust, pollen, bacteria, pet dander, mold spores and other airborne particles. The particle filter is made of polypropylene, which mechanically filters out airborne particles. To maximize filter effectiveness, particles are negatively charged before reaching the filters. In addition, the enhanced activated carbon maximizes system removal of smoke and gasses. The air filter replacement system uses ion technology and produces no ozone emissions.
