Doulton Ultracarb is a four stage cartridge combining the highly efficient
filtration properties of ceramic with the enhanced water treatment properties
of activated carbon and the heavy metal reduction capabilities of ion exchange
media.
The Doulton Ultracarb
Water Filter Element is the finest ceramic water filter cartridge on the
market. Doulton`s customers include: UNICEF, Save The Children, Red Cross,
etc. When
used with the Doulton HCP or HIP water filtration systems
this filter provides: 97% Chlorine reduction, 99.99% removal of Cryptosporidium,
and
Giardia. Greater than 98% Lead removal, and greatly improves taste, odor
and clarity. The WR012 lasts for 600 gallons (about 6 months to a year) at
a per gallon cost of about ten cents.
